KLJB-TV is a television station operating out of Davenport, Iowa. The station transmits on UHF channel 18. KLJB is currently a Fox television affiliate. The station is the primary Fox affiliate for the Quad Cities area and other parts of east central Iowa and northwest Illinois. Its transmitter is located near Orion, Illinois.
The station is owned by Grant Broadcasting, which was established and run by Milton Grant, who serves as President and General Manager of the station. In addition to this station, Grant also owns a number of other television stations in Iowa, Wisconsin, Alabama, and Virginia. Grant purchased KLJB on September 15, 1991. In 1996 he purchased the former KJMH-TV, channel 26, in Burlington, which then simulcasted KLJB's signal to southeast Iowa viewers before becoming WB affiliate KGWB (now known as KGCW) in late 2000.
Due to interference from a low-powered station also located at channel 26, KGCW's programming also airs on KLJB's digital subchannel in some of the Illinois portion of the market.Reviews
